Road Tests

Please visit Olds Registries to reserve and pay for your road test.

It is required by law that you provide certain documentation to your scheduled road test.

The vehicle that you must provide to perform your road test must also be in adequate condition, with certain equipment that is mandatory for your road test. For example, working signal lights and brake lights.

Only you and the examiner are allowed in the vehicle. No other passengers or pets are allowed. The only exception occurs when the examiner is accompanied by a government official in the course of being monitored.

For commercial vehicle road tests
